I am trying to fix my eating habbits, but it’s difficult. I need inspiration. 
I keep telling people about a great vegan cake I made for christmas one year. Maybe I should try that again, and make it organic.
I am not going to go vegan again, but I’d like to try to eat healthy, organic food that I made myself.. Trying not to keep with the ordering pizza at the last minute because I did not bother to make any food for myself all day -routine any longer.

I started Twittering. People are either sick of the whole thing already or just really busy with Middsummer madness. (Well I guess that’s just here.. Finland closes down during the days around Middsummers’ eve.)

June 9th, 2009I was hiding from the rainy weather and eating strawberries while surfing the net and found this cute pattern by Anne Bryant. I just love cute and creative patterns. One of the age old ideas I have yet to put into action is that I would buy small pieces of fabric and frame them. And I need to set up my sewing machine so I can get some small bags and things done. I might even start a small shop.. if the tax office allows.
I have been dreaming about a caravan like this lately. And now I found one online. It’s so cute! If any of my friends move to the country side, I am moving in their back yard with one of these. I am sure they’d be thrilled. (Mental note to self: must buy a dvd of Wonderfalls from my next pay).

Supergreen urban design
May 23rd, 2009This is an interesting project, with a cool poster, ofcourse. I love projects where people can submit ideas to make their city greener and more fun to live in.
Here’s information about renting a cheap (2 e) bike in Helsinki and some bike tours of the city. Remember to get a helmet too!
My bike’s at my parents bike cellar again. It was in Tampere with me for a while but I never got around to driving it. I know, that’s lame. I have realized that even if you don’t forget how to drive a bike, you still can be really bad at it after years of not doing much sports. I used to be a fiend on a bike as a kid. But I support the idea of bikes fully and plan on one day to take up the habit again. It’s summer, maybe I’ll get around to getting used to it again sooner rather than later.
To keep up with the tradition of linking to posts about decorating, here’s Lauren’s crib. I found it randomly. I think it looks pretty awesome. I want that color on my walls! And that yellow lamp, I want that too!
I need to watch Fifth Element again, for like the 1878171th time. It’s made of awesome!

Water
May 16th, 2009I want this bottle designed by Helen Dardik, but it costs a lot to order it from the US. And I don’t have a credit card. But I want to support her art anyway, so I am showing it here.
I need to drink water at work because I do customer service work over the phone a lot. I have been reading about store bought bottled water and I really don’t feel like drinking it much. I do have a plastic bottle but the water does not taste very fresh in it, I kind of feel like the plastic is making it taste funny. Maybe I am just silly.

Color me inspired
May 5th, 2009This shop is nice, full of really cute prints in fair prices. I have lately been looking at print shops, because I think many people are making inspiring things and we should notice them. Doing art and design because you love it, what a rush it must bee. And to live of it, that’s success, don’t you think? Helen Dardik has prints on sale at the shop. I really love her pictures! She just made a print for Unicef and she’s doing a lot of interesting projects. I have listed her blog Orange you lucky on the sidebar for a good reason :). And no, I don’t know her, I am just a fan.
I just noticed Ismoyo has these really cute printables on the Playground. Her blog is on the sidebar too.
I just realized I need to make a list of sites that have good and free printables!
This girl looks so cute on Hel-Looks. I wish I had found that hat. I sometimes look at the site just to feel better. People have so many funny and interesting outfits. Of course I don’t like all of them. Some people still wear fur, to my disgust, for example. But I like the way anyone can be a fashion idol. (Maybe I will be showing off my bunny ears at the website someday.)
I am trying to live a more healthy and environment friendly life from now on. Eating salad gives me chest pain, but I am sure I will get used to getting vitamins and other good things instead of poisons in my system, pretty soon. I hope so. I am buying organic stuff, thinking of ways to re-use packaging materials.. and I guess I should finally learn how to recycle my bio waste. I even buy recycleable plastic bags these days, to use in the trash can. A trash can without any bag is not happening anytime soon at this house, I hate washing that thing.
I know I sound so enlightened. I feel like a baby deer on thin ice, trying to learn my way. I have had environmentally conscious friends since I was a teenager, and I have tried to be more of a good girl. I just always ended up giving up. It seemed easier to live like a twat. Better late than never, I hope.
